Physical Appearance
Barry is an average of height for a male about 175.26 centimeters ( 5'9 ). He has long dark brown hair that is usually seen in a ponytail, occasional a bun or on those very very rare occasional were its fully down. He has a gold tooth, dark eyes and a mustache. Barry tends to dress mostly in tank tops and t-shirts.

Personality and Traits
Barry grew the reputation of being independent, and self reliant. He wasn't the type of guy who followed the crowds, and he would absolute despise when people would tell him what to do or try and make comments that undermined his ability. It made him defensive, upset and cold. ( only he was aloud to talk shit about himself )

Barry is very temperamental, and has a bit of a temper. the logical sense of him going out the window when he's enraged and he becomes more aggressive and will act on that by doing irrational things. That usually end in him trying to get some type of vengeance through violence.

He might not show it often but when Barry really cares about someone. He would do anything for them, and will try and help in anyway he can. He will also get very protective over them, and will go threw hell just to keep them safe.

BIOGRAPHY

Backstory

Barry is the middle child and only son of Gabriele Russo and Sophia Russo. He grew up on the cut, being raised mostly by his older sister. He was a an angry and quiet kid who had a hard time believing in himself and the things he could do. So instead of following his real dreams, he settled with another that lead him down a path of trauma, drugs and a much darker and cruel outlook on life.

Growing up Barry wasn't very close with his parents. His mother was barley there and, she hardly ever acted like a mother to him. Instead she left that job to her eldest daughter Emily. Who basically raised Barry until he was fourteen when she had left for collage.

With his father it was different. Barry and his father had always had a rocky relationship. His father had high expectations for his son and would always compare him to either himself when he was a kid or his older sister. And no matter how hard Barry tried, he was never enough, so he stopped trying to please him. Instead he did things to spite him instead. Then his father left and he didn't really care at the time, but years later he found out his father died and his feelings were conflicted. So he never talked about him, the subject of Gabriele Russo becoming a subject that was not talked about by Barry.

After graduating High School, Barry joined the army. Where he served for about five years until he was medically discharged. Then he moved back to the outer banks, where he bought his family's old trailer.

EXTRA INFO

• Barry used to fight with his older sister a lot. For multiple reasons, the first being he kind of resented her since he got compared to her a lot by their father. Then when she started acting like a parent to him when she wasn't. It made him angry, and they would fight. It took him a bit of time to realize that it wasn't her fault and that she was doing it of of love.
◦ The cause being when he was in the similar situation with their younger sister. When he stepped up and helped her until he left for the military.
◦ But at the end of the day it worked out in the end and the elder Russo siblings ended up being way closer because of it.
◦ He would do anything for his siblings.

• Emily is the only one that Barry had fully opened up to about his feelings and the things he went threw in the military.

• After leaving the army, Barry moved and bought back his family's old trailer.
◦ Wanting to have some sense of familiarity after being away for so long and the choas that happened while he was away.
◦ It took him awhile to adjust to the real world again and he still struggles but it wasn't as nearly as bad as when he first came back.

• He sufferers from PTSD, and Night terror that lead him to having Insomnia.

• Barry went from one shitty job to the next. Not being able to keep certain jobs because he'd either get bored, it would close down or at some point or another something would trigger him, which lead to an angry outburst casing him to be jobless.
◦ During those many jobs, in between he started selling drugs on the side, which became the majority of his income.
◦ Then he found the pawn shop and worked his way up to became a manager.

• Barry wanted to be write music and books for a living but his teachers and peers never took him seriously, and told him it would never happen. And at the time, he was feeling pretty low and gave up that dream. ( something he will think about a lot from time to time. )

• Unknown to most, Barry was engaged to a man named Francis Hargrove.
◦ They meet in the army, the two were stationed together. At first it was strictly business based. They did what they had to do and they were friends. But over time the two fell in love. Which was against the military policy. For multiple reason, but the main reason was the different ranks. Considering Francis was three years older then Barry and considered to be his superior.
◦ The two ended up sneaking around a lot during the two years and it worked for awhile. But then things got a bit crazy and they were found out. Which caused some problems and in the end they were separated. Francis was stated somewhere else, and Barry never saw him again after that. The only thing he had of him was the Francis's necklace that he used to propose to Barry with.
◦ It didn't help that after he was stationed somewhere else Barry heard about something going wrong in the unit that Francis was in and he was presumed dead. Which crushed Barry.

• Barry loves to read, listen to music and write. So in his free time, that's what he does. It's something that really brings him joy.
